The XPeng X2 electric flying vehicle is designed and developed by a China-based XPeng Inc’s aviation affiliate company. It is just one of the many and lots of flying car projects around the world. The X2 EV launched on Wednesday at the GITEX GLOBAL 2022 event— a tech events show in Dubai has 10 things you need to know about this Xpeng Inc. EV milestone.

 

01. The electric flying car named ‘Xpeng X2′ is manufactured by a Chinese electronic vehicle (EV) maker Xpeng Aeroht Inc.

 

02. It is a two-seater electric vehicle which is capable of a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) and is lifted by eight propellers, two propellers present on each corner of the vehicle.

 

03. It comes equipped with both road and flying capabilities; with a lightweight design and rotor mechanisms that enables a quick and easy transition from driving to flying.

04. This flying car of the future is capable of operating in both manual and autonomous modes, and does not release carbon dioxide during its flight.

 

05. The two-seated aircraft vehicle is suitable for short journeys within the city is a low altitude aircraft.

 

06. The Xpeng X2 is unmanned and comes with a maximum flight speed of 130 kilometres per hour.

10. The electric vehicle manufacturer and company is working towards launching the X2 flying electric vehicle on the international markets and will be expected to cost around $156,000.
